Hummingbird Artisan Foods is a shared vision created by Chefs Chris and Christina Brill. We met in culinary school in 2010 and a relationship blossomed around the value of creating something special by hand and our shared belief that great food enjoyed in good company nourishes both the body and the soul. 

After many years of cooking and catering, plus many coffee dates, our wedding (which we catered ourselves!) and the birth of our beautiful daughter Amelia, we decided to share our passion for cooking and creating with everyone by founding Hummingbird Artisan Foods in 2021. We launched our Charm Trio jam set in 2022 and have many more delicious foods in store for you!

We chose to begin the Hummingbird Artisan Foods journey with the Charm Trio set of our favorite jams because of our deep, heartfelt connection to Grandma Loretta’s Raspberry Jam recipe. Discovered by Christina in her mom Betty’s old recipe box, this simple fruit jam recipe carried written instructions handed down by generations of women makers. When we held the well-worn recipe card in our hands, with its decades of notes scrawled over stains of fresh fruit, we knew the first foods we wanted to create would be our own take on handcrafted, fresh jams.

The food we create at Hummingbird Artisan Foods comes from our hands, our hearts, and is rooted in our cherished family traditions. Just like our Grandma Loretta and mom Betty, we only use the freshest ingredients to craft our unique recipes by hand. Our food is an extension of our love of scratch cooking that honors fresh ingredients and showcases delicious flavors and we can’t wait for you to enjoy it!
